Mold blown. 3-layered cased glass: white opal interior with crystal exterior over about 4 rows of irregular, elongated white ovals surrounded by intermingled red, green &yellow. 4 horizontal ribs at base. Flaring from 1 3/4 d. base to 2 3/8 d. ground rim. 4 1/16 h. Mold blown. Unsigned. Shown in Glass Collector's Digest, Feb./Mar., 1997, p.41, Photo 3 wherein the author, a British collector of Cottage Glass, discusses his collection fof this glass made in Stourbridge, England c. 1885 -1900. He shows 2 of the tumblers along with a matching jug in the Peacock pattern, a pattern common to the late 19thcentury. Rim nick o/w Fine (No defects).
