Publisher    No publisher. No date.

Seller ID   50-0954

B/w photolithograph on glossy paper. Undivided back. White border. 1 cent stamp required. Title printed in black along the lower border of the front. The image is a close-up of the building which once occupied Independence Island. A large sign is visible stating 'Bathing Suits at Pavilion'. The city abandoned the island as a recreational site due to its inaccessibility (public access was solely by a rope ferry) around 1907. There are no identifying markings on this postcard, and print style on the back was used by many publishers, the closest of which dimension-wise were Calvert-Hatch (Cleveland) & Adolphe Selige (St. Louis). The top edge has a faint roughness & the card itself has a very slight warped with a faint dampstain across the bottom of the back o/w Fine (No defects). NOTE: Shipping for this item via 1st Class Mail is $2.00. Your shipping charge will appear as $4.00 in the Shopping Cart, but will be lowered before your credit card is charged.
