Presentation edition. 533pp. 8vo. 1/4 grey cloth over blue. 'Presentation Edition, Not For Sale' printed on copyright page, Chalice on title page uncolored. Uncut edges. Maps on endpapers. Small spot of stain on the back cover & another on the back endpaper o/w Very Good, i.e. signs of careful use with no significant defects. No dustjacket.

2 Van Dyke, Henry. THE LOST BOY.
Harper & Brothers [New York]. 1920 {October}. (1913, 1914). Hard Cover 
68pp. 16mo. Coated dark blue cloth giving the appearance of a fully blindstamped front cover with a 1/4' wide frame with a repeated trefoil motif which encloses a 1/8' wide unstamped frame. The center of the cover is pebbled except for a framed rectangular panel in which the title is embossed & an framed arch enclosing an embossed scene of a Palestinian city & a tree. A small panel at the base of the arch is embossed with a cross flanked by 2 trefoils on each side. The back cover is pebbled, and the spine bears two panels with the title/author in gilt in one, & the publisher in gilt in the other. All lettering in Old English font. Top edge gilt, others uncut. Brown endpapers. Frontispiece & 2 other b/w plates by N. C. Wyeth. Gilt on spine is dull, a previous owner's unobtrusive signature on endpaper & back of frontispiece, minor rubs to the spine extremes o/w Very Good, i.e. some signs of careful use with no significant defects. No dustjacket. SEE SCAN.
