1 Boston & Sandwich Glass Co., Sandwich, MA. SCARCE C. 1880 OPAQUE BLUE PEDESTAL SANDWICH GLASS MINIATURE KEROSENE LAMP.
1880s. 
Opaque blue milk glass pedestal base with clear, pressed glass font. Opalescent white milk glass shade, which serves also as the 4 3/8 h. to the top of the collar & about 7 h. with shade. chimney. Original collar. Olmsted burner (patented in 1877 & often called the Sandwich burner because of their use on Sandwich lamps). Attributed to Sandwich by the Smiths' Miniature Lamps (Vol. 1, Fig. 11) except the shade is shaped like Fig. 19,which is also of the period. The brass has not been polished. Complete, working and in Excellent condition.

2 Consolidated Lamp & Glass Company. GONE-WITH-THE-WIND PARLOR KEROSENE LAMP.
C.1895 
Embossed milk glass font with large flowers & scrolling tendrils tinted with magenta & yellow. Stencil transfer magenta print of an elk in reserves on the front & back. 10 d., non-embossed, milk glass globe shade with matching handpainted flowers, scrolling tendrils & stenciled elks. Font tapers from 8 d. to 2 d., resting on a filagreed, brass-plated cast iron base. Plume & Atwood Royal-type brass burner & reservoir, inserted into a steel tank in the font. Top of burner embossed Consolidated around which is Pat'd Sept. 9. 90 Apr. 11. 93. 22 1/4 h. on top of burner. [The patent dates reference patent nos. 436,093 &495,289 respectively, which were assigned to P&A Mfg. Co. by Lewis Atwood. P&A made these brass font pots for Fostoria Shade & Lamp Co., which was merged into Consolidated Lamp & Glass Company in 1893.] 22 h. Base impressed 1134. Plate on the base is quite worn o/w Fine (No defects) No chimney. 3 GE-Mazda. MAZDA MODEL TRAIN STATION BELL-SHAPED LIGHT BULB.
1932 - 1940. 
C-6. Dark blue painted crystal glass. 1 3/4 h. GE-Mazda 1932 - 1940 Tungsten filaments.Working with some paint missing. These bulbs were first made by General Electric in 1932 as streetlights for a model train station manufactured by the Lionel Company. GE offered them in various colors when it was found they could be used as Christmas lights when hung upside down. They were produceduntil the beginning of World War II. Rainwater & Redfield, The Encyclopedia of American Silver Manufacturers (4th Ed.), attributes this trademark to Oneida. A small spot of wear on the heel o/w Fine (No defects). 6 Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass & Glass Co. Pittsburgh, Swissvale & Jeannette, PA. VICTORIAN PARLOUR /TABLE KEROSENE LAMP WITH RED SATIN BEADED COOLIDGE DRAPE FONT & REGAL IRIS SHADE.
C. 1902 - 1905. 
Beaded Coolidge Drape hemispherically-shaped font about 12 1/2 d. across the top embossed with 4 large sections of swagged drapery separated by panels featuring 3 columns of beads. Drop-in-lift-out Rochester-type brass center draft burner & reservoir marked Fostoria & Patented Sept. 9.90 Apr. 11.93 Apr. 30.95 on the top. The patent dates reference patent nos. 436,093 & 495,289 respectively, which were assigned to P&A Mfg. Co. (Plume & Atwood) by Lewis Atwood. P&A made these brass font pots for Fostoria Shade & Lamp Co., which merged into Consolidated Lamp & Glass Company in 1893. Consolidated used these in their Extra-Fancy Grade Lamps including their red satin glass lamps. Attributed to the Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass & Glass Co. Pittsburgh, Swissvale &Jeannette, PA. C. 1902 - 1905. Base (original) consists of a ringed brass connector resting on a lacquered brass disc-shaped base supported by 4scrolled & beaded feet. The disc is supported by a steel ring & crossbars holding the central connector bolt & nut impressed P&A {Plume & Atwood) & 218. 25 1/2 h. With respect to rarity, this is a marriage made in heaven. The Regal Iris shade is rare and the Beaded Coolidge Drape font is more so. Both the selenium red glass & the designs are products of Nicholas Kopp who directed operations are both companies. All parts are original or of the period and working. No harm chipping around base of shade's collar & in-the-making roughness around the top ring. Scattered worn spots & tarnishing on lacqered disc & feet. No chimney. Nickelplated flatten steel wire handle embossed Hecker's Old Homestead Pancake Flour riveted to a nickelplated steel blade with a single circular hole. (2 3/4 x 3 3/8 l.) with rounded shoulders. 10 1/2 l.Unmarked, but a cake turner identical to this one, except that the single circular hole in the blade is replaced by a heart-shaped hole, is found advertising Rumford the Wholesome Baking Powder and embossed with Pilgrim Novelty Co, Prov., R.I. Early 20th C. Average use with no abuse.

Tin. 3-parts consisting of (1) a graduated, handled bowl with screw threads on the bottom, (2) a tapered spout soldered to a circular disc that fits against the hole in the bottom of the bowl, and (3) a threaded sleeve that holds either the spout and/or 3 disc of perforated tin or wire mesh providing various porosities. The parts can be fitted together to create a dipper, funnel, fruit jar or bottle filler,1-cup/ pint measure, strainer, sifter, clothes sprinkler, flour dredger, and funnel cake maker. 5 1/4 h. fully assembled x 4 3/8 d. across the top of the bowl, and 8 1/8 l. across bowl & handle. Unmarked. C. 1890s - 1910s. 3 strainer discs are missing, spout dented o/w average use.

13 Unknown. ANTIQUE WOODEN SLEIGH CANDY CONTAINER WITH PAPIER-MACHE SANTA & 2 REINDEER.
C. 1920. 
This Christmas display features reindeer pulling Santa in his sleigh on a 19 1/2x 3 7/8 snow-covered wooden platform. The wooden sleigh (8 3/4 l.) has scattered snow on the the side railings & a cotton batting blanket. Santa has a painted papier-mache face (with a rabbit fur beard), hands, & boots, all of which are held together by wire under his suit. He is dressed in a red felt coat trimmed in white, a red felt hood, & blue felt pants & black boots. Sitting in a fixed position in his sleigh, he is about 4 h. & is holding a feather tree sprig. The 2 papier-mache reindeer (3 1/2 h.)pulling the sleigh have been molded in magnificent detail & realistically painted. They both have wooden legs & lead or lead-alloy antlers. Reins (felt-backed & heavily crazed) attach attach the reindeer to the sleigh. The only marking is Germany printed on a sticker on Santa's foot. C. 1920. There is snow missing from the frontcorner & some missing at the area in back of the sleigh, minor damage to the heads of the reindeer o/w the display is complete, entirely original, and in Very Good (i.e. signs of careful use with no significant defects) condition.

Flatten wire handle embossed Malted Grape Nuts & A Delightful Health Drink on obverse. Conical-shaped coiled wire at beater end, looped heavy wire cap lifter with 2 tabs at other. About 8 1/2 l. No other markings.Malted Grape Nut s was marketed by Postum Cereal Co. of Battle Creek, MI as adrink ordered at soda fountains that combined their Grape Nuts in a powder form with milk, a flavoring of one's choice (chocolate was oftenrecommended), and optionally an egg. Advertisements appeared in the early 1920s. Average use with tarnish.

Steel opener & aluminum handle with chain hole. 2 1/2 l. Unmarked. This opener was the subject of Design Patent D153,349 issued to Oscar R. Galter, April 12, 1949. Because of the short handle, there was little demand for these openers and they are fairly scarce. Bull No. N-2. Near Fine, i.e. very minor signs of careful use.
