Folder card with cover showing a mask, bearded man thru a diecut & reading Reward For The Apprehension And Arrest Of This Man. Beware...He Is At Large! Unmask This Man See Description Inside. Opens to read Unmasked! & He's A Fifth Columnist! and show a pig, snake, rat & skunk. Copyrighted 1940 H. Fishlove& Co. 3 1/4 x 5. Designed by George Howard Wallace then of Pittsburgh, PAand sold to Fishlove. Includes a photocopy of a page from the 9/14/40 issue of The Billboard magazine advertising & reporting on the novelty. Some glue spots in the interior & slight soiling to the covers. NOTE: Shipping for this item via 1st Class Mail is $1.50. 1940 GAG NOVELTY: THE POTT BROTHERS. Album of American Favorites TOM & PAUL - The POTT BROTHERS Known to Every Household on the box lid. Box contains pictures of the brothers' busts in picture frames, but T. Pott face is a 1 metal Teapot. P. Pott's face is a 7/8 ceramic Chamber Pot stenciled Ladies & impressed Japan. Box is 4 x 3 x 1 1/8 h. Side of lid printedNo 737 Pott Brothers Copyrighted 1940 H. FIshlove & Co.. 4x 3x 11/8. Designed by George Howard Wallace then of Pittsburgh, PA and sold to Fishlove. There appears to be something missing around the hole in P. Pott's face which would hold the chamber pot more tightly. A few, small, minor scuffs,bottom of box has some soiling o/w Fine.

Box lid labeled Fresh Dates with pictures of dates. Opens to a picture of woman slapping man & another of her and walking back back to a city, a small 1943 calendar, a little Date Book, & a pencil. #766 `Fresh Dates' Copyrighted 1942 H. Fishlove & Co.. 53/4 x 3 3/4 x 1 h. Plus original cover letter of 3/19/1943 signed by J. Fishlove, President, which accompanied payment to the inventor, George Howard, then of Pittsburgh, PA, and a sample of the novelty. Some light scuffing on the bottom of the box, the letter is thrice folded & has quite a few calculations in pencil on the back, which may have been related to income & expenses o/w Very Good, i.e. signs of careful use with no significant defects.

Real book format with cover label reading: Child Training Easily Applied Raise YourChildren Properly/ Prof. S. P. Ank/ former child psychologist. The label is pasted over the cover of a real book (The Open Door Language Series, Second Book by Scott Congdon & Peet Frazee published by Houghton Mifflin). Book opens to reveal the center of the book's pages cut out to create a cavity holding a wooden paddle picturing a child being spanked. DIRECTIONS GraspHandle Firmly and apply vigorously when needed are printed in the bottom ofthe cavity. A blank label covers text on the back cover of the original book. 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 h. x 5/8. Unmarked, but also included is the original cover letter (12/19/1947) to the inventor, George Howard Wallace then of Pittsburgh, PA, from H. Fishlove & Co., which accompanied payment for the idea and a sample of the novelty. The letter refers to this novelty as #204. Some very light foxing on the cover label o/w Fine. The letter is thrice folded with wrinkles & age toning.

Fishlove & Co. 3 1/4 x 5 1/2 x 1/2h. Plus original cover letter of 8/27/1947 signed by J. Fishlove, President, which accompanied payment to the inventor, George Howard, then of Pittsburgh, PA. Some very light foxing on the bottom of the box along with the 785 & 162 written in ink & letter is thrice folded o/w Very Good, i.e. signs of careful use with no significant defects.
