346pp. sm8vo. Red cloth with black-lettered front cover & spine. B/w frontispiece & dustjacket illustrated by J. Allen St. John. The last page of the book lists 15 Burroughs titles of which 'The Bandit of Hell's Bend' (1926) is the latest. The same 15 titles are listed on the verso of the dustjacket with the addition of 'Pellucidar' (1923). Top edge dusty, textblock lightly tanned, light paste action on endpapers, a previous owner's name & date (1927) in ink on both pastedown endpapers o/w Very Good, i.e. signs of careful use with no significant defects/ DJ (1 1/2' missing section at the bottom of the spine including a small adjacent area on the back panel; triangular tear in middle of spine & back flap almost detached - both repaired with clear archival tape on the inside of the dustjacket; all edges worn. Visually, however, the front is Very Good. See PHOTO.
